30 year old teenager
2023, the year I turned thirty
Or shall I say thirteen
Body might ache but soul feels young
Tied a rope to the tree of life and swung
Oh how wonderful to feel like a child again
Curtains down for twenties, a new era began
Was naughty, got dirty, didn’t play by the rules
Chose a chaotic journey, had all the tools
Friends became family, emotions at all time high
Energetic, adventurous, rebellious, head held to the sky
In 2023, transformed into my own miniature
Or shall I say a thirty year old teenager
